So here it is a new blog with the intention to unpack pedagogy through a 'back and forth' between Fiona Zinn and Anne van Dam.
Perhaps this idea evolved from the many conversations and interactions we have had since the first time we met at the Canadian School in Singapore in 2004. Grateful for the inspiration, thought provoking ideas and wonderings that we have shared during taxi rides, messenger chats, Skype conversations and dinners in Hobart, Beijing, Seoul, Singapore, Leiden and Bangkok.
It never ceases to amaze me how we construct 'through and with' the learning of others..... We hope you will join us in contemplating what it means to deeply think about the identity of the child, and the role of school in today's ever changing world.
